Smart Technology Solutions for Architects Built Around Your Design
Technology Woven Into Your Design Vision
Every wire, panel, and speaker in your project either supports the architecture or fights it. We design for the former. Equipment gets tucked into walls, ceilings, and millwork so it disappears from view. Finishes are matched, not merely approximated, so a keypad reads as a design detail rather than an afterthought. When a client asks for bold, visible hardware instead, we design for that too. Either way, the decision lies with you and your client.
That requires coordinating early where a speaker grille interrupts a ceiling detail, or where a shade housing needs to sit flush inside a window pocket rather than surface-mounted on top of it. Small placement decisions like these are easy to fix on paper and expensive to fix after drywall goes up. Our job is to give you a system that holds up to your design intent while still giving clients a luxury, tech-forward lifestyle.
Bring Us in During Design Development
- Design Review: We read your plans and flag where our infrastructure needs to fit in.
- Documentation: We provide wiring schedules and point counts that your electrician and GC can build from.
- Construction coordination. We stay engaged through framing, rough-in, and finish work so nothing gets covered up before it should be.
The result is fewer surprises for you, fewer callbacks for your client, and a finished space that matches the drawings you signed off on.
Systems We Coordinate Into Your Plans
Scene-based lighting supports how a room is meant to feel at different times of day, without stray switches breaking up a wall plan. (See our lighting and shading control page for more information.)
Shades and drapery manage light, privacy, and UV exposure automatically, with housings built into the window or ceiling detail rather than bolted on top of it. (See our motorized shading page.)
Whole-home audio and video, including hidden and mirror-finish displays for rooms where a visible screen doesn't fit the design. (See our audio-video page.)
One system tying lighting, shading, climate, and AV together, so your client controls their home from their device of choice. (See our smart home automation page.)
Documentation and Coordination You Can Use
Throughout the project, we work directly with your electrician, GC, and any other trade touching the same walls. On projects with an interior designer already involved, we coordinate lighting and AV placement with them directly, so fixture and finish decisions get resolved once instead of being revisited after the fact. You get a single point of contact for every technology question that comes up during design and construction.
Why Architects Choose Us
We partner with Control4, Savant, Crestron, Lutron, Ketra, and Sonos, as well as Savant Power and RoseWater Energy. Our HTA Certified Luxury status reflects third-party vetting that most integration companies never undergo, and it gives you a documented standard to point to when a client asks who's handling their technology.
We're also based on the island, not hopping in from the mainline. That matters for coordination during construction, where a same-day site visit can settle a question that would otherwise sit in an email thread for a week. Architects who work with us once tend to bring us back on the next project, largely because the same team stays involved from the first drawing review through final commissioning.
